I am doing a paper on a important woman in american history. I would like some suggestions as to whom I might focus on and why. Thanks

Ayn Rand. She is an absolutely fascinating woman, and has gotten the title of “the most controversial woman in history”, even though many people don’t know her name. She’s influenced our late Federal Reserver chairman Alan Greenspan, among others, and even now has a community practicing the philosophies she’s set out. She wrote “Atlas Shrugged”, a book rated the second most controversial, only after the Bible.
